Fischman Settles Mana v Cho Suit allowing Negotiations with County for Land Swap


MOISHE MANA, Plaintiff, vs. ANTHONY JIMMY CHO a/k/a TONY CHO, METRO 1 PROPERTIES, INC., a Florida corporation, SCOTT ALAN SILVER, and GROUPER FINANCIAL, INC., a Florida corporation, Defendants IN THE CIRCUIT COURT OF THE 11TH JUDICIAL CIRCUIT IN AND FOR MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FLORIDA CASE NO.: 2014-005040-CA-32 amicably settle their differences and the Court dismisses the lawsuit pursuant to the agreement of the parties. 

The resolution enables the Mana team and Bruce Fischman, Esq. to negotiate with Miami-Dade County about a possible land swap of the County's four parcels for Mana property across the street and the construction of a community center for the Puerto Rican Chamber of Commerce pursuant to a 2.5 million dollar general obligation bond. The County owns 1.4 acres of 60,560 square feet of land located  at 270 Northwest 23rd Street, 251 Northwest 22nd Lane, 205 Northwest  22nd Lane, and 2268 Northwest Second Avenue. Mana Wynwood already owns 30 acres in Wynwood, as well as the massive Dade Foreign Trade Zone, which is located  directly adjacent to the county property. Mana Wynwood will negotiate to give the county 15,715 square feet of land at 2153 Northwest Second Avenue and 2145 Northwest Second Avenue in exchange for the county property. The Fischman Law Firm, P.A. and Bruce Fischman shall be instrumental in negotiating, drafting and moving this land swap process forward towards County and PRCC approval.
